Health Career Resources

Healthcareers website was launched 9 years ago to promote the diversity of careers in health primarily to school age students. In August 2017 a decision was made to decommission Healthcareers as many of the resources and materials had become outdated.

In July 2017 Careers New Zealand became part of the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). The Careers New Zealand website provides information on a comprehensive range of occupation specific career options available within the health sector. This website should be utilised by DHBs to signpost young people interested in a health career. Kia Ora Hauora is important for promoting and supporting Maori into a range of health careers.
