Workforce

We’re committed to supporting our customers to strengthen innovation initiatives and to adopt and explore new ways of working, while developing a sustainable workforce to meet future health needs.

We also partner on a number of other projects, including the development of workforce plans, sustainable recruitment initiatives and health workforce intelligence planning.

We are about to embark on a new workforce development pathway that focuses on leveraging the workforce assessment process and enhanced workforce information to develop workforce plans. This diagram outlines the proposed workforce assessment process:

 Further information on the development of the new workforce team will be provided in late 2015.

Currently the team works with District Health Boards and the wider health sector on a range of programmes and initiatives to support workforce development, these include:
