Research: Trajectories of care and the use of specialist palliative care

Recently, our interRAI Services team hosted Professor Heather McLeod who gave a presentation about trajectories of care and the use of specialist palliative care in the last years of life.
Her research, commissioned by the Ministry of Health, links data from interRAI assessments, the National Collections, aged residential care subsidies, and data from hospices and hospital palliative care, to identify five trajectory groups.
