Communications Advisor

We are now seeking a Communications Advisor to work across all levels of our organisation to deliver fit-for-purpose communications. 

You will be a self starter and a bright spark, prepared to work hard and have fun. This is an opportunity to use your passion for communications to help our organisation raise its profile and tell its value story as it moves into an exciting phase. 

You will work in a small strategy team focussed on delivering core support services within TAS.

To do well in this role you have a relevant tertiary qualification or appropriate experience, and can demonstrate your highly honed skills of:

  • Developing engaging content across a variety of channels for internal and external communications
  • Grasping the bigger picture and ensuring communications align with organisation strategy
  • Succeeding in a sensitive stakeholder environment
  • Building effective relationships across all levels of the organisation and engaging others in change
  • Strong problem solving

interRAI Educators – Hamilton, Tauranga/Rotorua & Auckland

We are seeking exceptional candidates with a passion for education and the health of older people to join our interRAI team, and have 3 full time positions available in Hamilton, Tauranga/Rotorua and Auckland.

If you:

  • have a good understanding of comprehensive clinical assessment (interRAI),
  • understand the NZ health sector especially Needs Assessment or aged care facilities, 
  • have experience with training or sharing clinical knowledge,
  • have superior communication and organisation skills, and
  • are comfortable with software,

then this may be the role for you.

As an interRAI Educator you will work with and support our main stakeholders; DHBs, their Needs Assessment services, Home and Community Support Services and Aged Residential Care providers, to use the interRAI assessment and understand the data the assessment automatically generates. You will be working within a supportive team to provide interRAI assessment training and support for new assessors to reach competency, support those assessors that are already competent, and for ‘end users’, and other associated stakeholders.

The role offers a great level of independence and your ability to travel is essential as our service operates throughout New Zealand.  If you are a health professional with a current practising certificate and previous interRAI and/or Needs Assessment experience we are keen to hear from you.

Successful candidates will be given a comprehensive orientation, sufficient training for the role and the opportunity to join our dynamic interRAI team.

Lead Business Intelligence Consultant – Health Data

We have a new opportunity for an experienced data professional who enjoys working with data to inform strategic decision making and measure performance.  Your expert knowledge will have you providing strategic analytical and economic advice within TAS and across the health and wider public sector.   

Your desire to work for a worthwhile purpose – supporting New Zealand’s health sector, and taking the lead of data analysis, data insights and modelling across this area will see you supporting our customers and stakeholders.  The ability to interpret and apply economic and data evidence to complex issues will be a key part of this role.

To be considered for this role you must have: 

  • Expertise in data analysis, use of insights, economic evidence, data and economic modelling.
  • Worked in complex environments in the analytical space or managerial roles.
  • Experience working as a leader across an organisation and with virtual teams.
  • Expert knowledge of statistical software such as SQL and SAS.
  • The ability to build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders and customers.

Regional Health Informatics - Enterprise Architect

We now have an opportunity for someone to come in and support the Regional Health Informatics Programme (RHIP) as an Enterprise Architect.   This is a ‘TAS hosted’ role on behalf of the Central region District Health Boards (DHBs) where you will provide a specialist and expert resource to support the DHBs. 

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting the DHBs with technology architectural ownership
  • Providing the product solution roadmap
  • Ensuring standards are compliant
  • Providing solution briefs for the Projects team from which to build a delivery plan

If this sounds like you and you have:

  • Extensive experience in technical architectural engineering
  • The ability to work hands-on as well as think strategically
  • Proven experience and the skills to manage competing demands across customers, stakeholders and vendors  
  • Demonstrated resilience
  • Built strong and effective working relationships
  • Shown successful results while dealing with ambiguity.
