Venue and Facilities Assistant

We have an opportunity for a Venue Facilities Assistant to be part of the team involved in the successful and smooth running of Front + Centre, our busy meeting and collaboration space.

We are looking for another people person to join the team at Front+Centre.

In this role, you will be responsible for delighting our stakeholders, external and internal venue customers with an excellent facilities operation and service. You will always be maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness of our venue.

To be successful for this role you must demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Excellent customer service and facilities administration
  • Ability to maintain a professional standard of behaviour at all times
  • Calm under pressure while being friendly and approachable
  • Ability to work across disciplines to deliver outcomes
  • Ability to think on one’s feet, manage multiple and conflicting priorities, and meet the day to day deadlines
  • Technology literacy and an ability to solve minor technical issues such as troubleshooting minor technical issues with telephone and conferencing equipment and software.

The role requires someone who can work from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm and with some flexibility work occasionally cover after-hours events when required.

Programme Consultant – Safe Staffing Healthy Workforces (SSHW)

Closes 4pm, Friday, 26 April 2019

  • 12 months fixed term
  • National role, flexible work hours, work remotely
  • Support DHBs to implement Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) programme
  • Use coaching and consulting skills to build local and national CCDM capability

The Programme Consultant is responsible for supporting our partners (DHBs and Health Unions e.g. PSA) in implementing the CCDM programme.This will not be in isolation and will be collaborative work with other Programme Consultants.

The key functions of the role are programme development, implementation, and management; provide leadership and expert advice, and build and sustain relationships with our partners.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Relevant tertiary level qualification
  • Recent experience working in a DHB 
  • Deep understanding of health unions and the way they work
  • Capability in managing complex health systems and relationships
  • Ability to work across disciplines to deliver outcomes
  • Ability to facilitate, lead, and manage change
  • Adult education experience would be an advantage
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate is desirable.

The SSHW Unit is a passionate team of individuals, the benefits of this role are: 

  • Flexible hours, with an option to work full time or part time (20+hours)
  • Work remotely if based outside of Wellington
  • Enhance your relationship management, leadership and consultancy skills
  • Learning and growth opportunities appropriate for the role

Maternity Services
