Information, knowledge and records are some of our key strategic assets and at the core of TAS business. Information and knowledge management is the discipline that allows information and knowledge to be governed, protected, and prioritised. It helps to build our business capability and increases our strategic value.

Information and knowledge management impacts all areas of TAS business, so this new role will be involved in system and process design, specifically our planned Electronic Document Management System (EDRMS), information and records sharing, risk and managing our information and knowledge to add value.

 We are looking for someone who can successfully:

  • Determine new processes for creating, structuring, and managing information and records according to business needs. This includes the improvement of the user experience with cost effective automation of manual repetitive processes
  • Help to develop, the new system, migrate information across and decommission the old information system
  • Identify and address barriers to information and records sharing and reuse, within TAS and between TAS and external organisations
  • Identify and implement information and knowledge security requirements
  • Identify information and knowledge risks and contribute to risk assessments

 Skills and knowledge required:

  • A knowledge and understanding of the Public Records Act 2005 and its pragmatic operation within an organisation
  • Experience of document and records management systems (EDRMS)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams

Audit Coordinator

Our highly successful Audit and Assurance team delivers audit services nationwide. We have a multicultural team with diverse backgrounds. Our critical success factors is our people and you can be one of those people. TAS is accredited to deliver certification audits, as a designated audit agency. Our certification team provide these audit services to hospitals, rest homes, and other residential services.

We’re seeking an Audit Coordinator to join our certification team! You’ll be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, monitoring and administration for audit programmes and related activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance are maintained. You’ll also have the chance to provide adhoc support across allocated and related project work outside the Audit & Assurance annual work programme.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience working in a project coordination / support role or similar, where planning and coordination was a key component of the work. Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies would be an advantage
  • Proven organisational skills along with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • A strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exercise and maintain objectivity, professional judgement and discretion
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach and an ability to work with a minimum of supervision on a day to day basis

Senior Systems Support Engineer

Regional Digital Health Services (RDHS) is a TAS business group that delivers, operates, and supports shared clinical applications on behalf of Central Region DHBs. Regional applications are critical to the effective and safe delivery of patient care. 

The Senior Systems Support Engineer role is an integral part of the Regional ICT team and is responsible for providing engineering support for systems under the Regional Support agreement. A vital part of the role will be to assist with building and transferring knowledge into the Service Operations team.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Five years' experience within a related technology environment as a systems engineer with previous experience in a senior technical role Demonstrable experience with modern technologies and practices such as cloud computing, DevOps, Agile and CI/CD
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products
  • Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices
  • Experience with automating engineering support tasks
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

The successful applicant will be able to work independently, take initiative when necessary, and is pro-active in a dynamic environment.  They will be personable and able to work well within a team environment.
