Analytics is a rapidly evolving area, generating increased automation, interactive visual reporting, data management, and analytical capability. Insights and Analytics Group operates as a centre of excellence within TAS, delivering services involving data management, reporting and analytical insights. We provide services across any TAS enterprises and programmes requiring analytical support.

We want to add to our Insights and Analytics team the right analyst who can inject something of value to the TAS team, and who is not afraid to grow and be stretched. If you have a keen interest in building on your skills to work with data and provide analytical consultancy services to customers, making use of the latest data analysis and reporting technologies, then we want to hear from you.

To be successful in this role you will also have:

  • Relevant experience with complex business requirements within complex organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build good relationships across a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and able to grasp technical concepts easily.
  • The ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.

Experience within the health sector would be an advantage.

Collaboration Co-ordinators (2)

Planning and Collaboration and Development(P&C) is a professional service group within of TAS.  Planning and Collaboration provides a) planning support services that enable our customers to develop regional and national plans to optimise investments within sector constraints; b) collaboration services to enhance the effectiveness across key executive groups and enables them to deliver on key work programmes and projects; and c) integrated approach to business intelligence to provide insight and knowledge to inform sector prioritisation and service improvements.

The Collaboration Co-ordinator roles are responsible for supporting Executive Groups both National and Central Region.  These roles are responsible for providing efficient, high quality co-ordination and  secretariat support to ensure smooth preparation and running of board meetings. They provide a professional interface and links TAS and its internal and external stakeholders.  

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Relevant work experience with governance board and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong focus on building and maintaining strong working relationship with internal, external and multiple stakeholders.
  • High level of organisational skills and results orientation.
  • The ability to actively listen to discussions, integrate context and content, summarise and create a cohesive board reports.
  • Works independently but knows when to work collaborate with others to meet deadlines and deliver requirements on time.
  • Experience working within Health, a DHB and Ministry is an advantage.

This role is providing support and assistance to both the General Manager of Services and the Director of Employment Relations Services.  It includes providing high quality coordination and support to the wider Employment Relations Services Team for the delivery of ER Services.

If you have great customer service skills, a collaborative and team player spirit, are flexible and have good organisational and planning skills with a good eye for detail we want to hear from you.

To be successful in this role you will also have:

  • Proven organisational skills along with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with previous experience in minute taking.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people.
  • Keen eye for details and demonstrated ability to scrutinise information and data before publication.
  • Knowledge in Employment Relations, collective bargaining or HR an advantage.
  • Experience working within Health, a DHB or a Ministry is ideal.
