Programme Consultant – Safe Staffing Healthy  Workplaces (SSHW)

Closes 4pm, Friday, 5 April 2019

  • 12 months fixed term
  • National role, flexible work hours, work remotely
  • Support DHBs to implement Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) programme
  • Use coaching and consulting skills to build local and national CCDM capability

The Programme Consultant – SSHW is responsible for supporting our partners (DHBs and Health Unions e.g. PSA) in implementing the CCDM programme. This will not be in isolation and will be collaborative work with other Programme Consultants.

The key functions of the role are programme development, implementation, and management; provide leadership and expert advice, and build and sustain relationships with our partners.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Relevant tertiary level allied health qualification
  • Current or recent DHB work experience
  • Deep understanding of health unions and the way they work
  • Capability in managing complex health systems and relationships
  • Ability to work across disciplines to deliver outcomes
  • Ability to facilitate, lead, and manage change
  • Adult education experience would be an advantage
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate is desirable.

The SSHW Unit is a passionate team of individuals, the benefits of this role are:
