Certification Audits

Our Designated Auditing Agency (DAA) and Certification Audit Programme provide an independent auditing service. We audit quality and risk management systems for health and disability service organisations, under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001. We also audit the provision of healthcare services by healthcare providers.

We welcome the opportunity to work with new clients. If we can assist your organisation with any of the services listed below, or if you’d like to know more about the DAA/Certification Audit Programme, we’d love to hear from you.

Designated Audit Agency

TAS audits providers against the Health and Disability Sector Standards (NZS 8134:2008). We deliver certification audit services to healthcare providers, including but not limited to:

  • Rest home care
  • Hospital care
  • Residential disability care (psychiatric/mental health and addictions, intellectual, and physical)
  • District Health Boards
  • Hospices.

We provide services for the full certification audit cycle, which includes certification, surveillance, provisional and partial provisional audits.

TAS was designated as an audit agency on 5 December 2013 by the Ministry of Health.

Retirement Village Association Audits
